Natural Remedies

I want to let you into my little world of trying various remedies. The remedies that your grandma might have used and which were inevitably passed down to your mother and onto you (although if you are anything like me, I pretended to pay attention, and now I somewhat regret I wasn't paying attention!).

Please bear in mind that when using natural remedies, whether for hair, skin, nails, aches/pains, digestion, etc, their effects are not immediate.  It takes time and patience, but your body will thank you for it in the long run.

Remember that only using natural remedies might not cut it. You will eventually have to change your lifestyle in certain aspects.

Activated charcoal is effective in ridding the body of heavy metals and toxins because the charcoal binds with the toxins/metallic compounds that are circulating throughout your body.

You've already heard of and probably have done a detox before. But did you know that it's also important to detox your armpits? If you've ever had lumps in your armpits or neck (your lymph nodes) while sick (this has happened to me, while I haven't been sick) you probably should detoxify your armpits, because your lymph nodes are congested and need a break. Decrease your toxic load within your body which in turn helps lower breast cancer risk. There are chemicals found in deo/antiperspirants, that can cause breast cancer. Rid your body of all of the harsh chemicals that cause hormonal disruption within your body (Aluminum, Triclosan, Parabens, to name a few.)
